Separating the Mind from its Objects | Virtual Retreat Day 5 Morning

2021.03.10 | Just like clear water that has been mixed with dye, the mind gets coloured by the objects it experiences. If it meets with a sight or sound that is a basis for anger, the mind picks this up and turns angry. The same is true for love, hate and fear. When we can start putting these sense objects down, however, the mind separates from them, and returns to its clear, original state.
